Efficient air conditioning and heating solutions provide a comfortable office environment.

Research from the University of Helsinki has shown that employees are at their most productive at a steady office temperature of 22°C.  Performance is known to decrease above this temperature.

UK Met Office data from 2023 shows that the UK is now experiencing “significantly more really hot days”.  Now is a great time for employers to consider office air conditioning as a way to maintain a constant natural working temperature and to boost employee performance.

Stay warm in cold weather

Did you know that many air conditioners can be used for heating as well as cooling? Air conditioning can be used to heat your office during the colder months, which means that staff enjoy a comfortable working environment.

Modern air conditioning systems fitted with a reversing valve can switch between heating and cooling modes using a process called reverse-cycle technology.

Reverse-cycle air conditioners can be more efficient than standard electric heaters at heating.

Air conditioning units are much more economical than standard central heating systems.  Modern air conditioners are very efficient, producing approximately 5 kW of heat for each kW of electric energy used, compared to under 1 kW of heat per kW of energy from a boiler.

Therefore, less energy will be consumed to produce heat, which means lower energy bills.
